Mothman, The Man Release New Single 'Mother Leed's 13th Child, Pts. 1 & 2'

Falmouth psych/garage rockers Mothman, The Man are pleased to reveal their epic new single ‘Mother Leeds’ 13th Child, Pts. 1 & 2’ which is out now via Krautpop Records.

The track is the latest to be taken from their new album Where’s Your Head?, released on 19th April 2024 via Krautpop Records.

Produced, mixed, and mastered by drummer Billy Joe Mattack, commenting on the track front man Connor Childs said:

"Following the theme of our first single 'Gigantopithecus', 'Mother Leeds's 13th Child, Pts. 1 & 2' is again inspired by my love of cryptid mythology and folklore. Mother Leeds is supposed to have birthed 12 children before birthing her unlucky 13th who, in the end, ended up being the spawn of Satan himself. The Jersey Devil!”

“For such an epic tale I thought it only appropriate to write one of our longest tracks to date. It takes elements from stoner, doom, and psychedelic influences as well as borrowing heavily from late ‘70s conceptual prog rock. It’s probably the heaviest track on the album and I think it really captures the satanic nature of the themes!"
