Hands Off Gretel Release Video For New Single 'Milk'

In anticipation of their recently announced headline tour for Spring 2020 and 'The Angry' EP, to be released on their own Puke Pop Records on 6 March, Hands Off Gretel have revealed a new video single for 'Milk', from their 2019 album 'I Want The World'

“Milk is a song I wrote about animal exploitation, which is something I’m so passionate about raising awareness of. I’d say it’s one of the heaviest songs we play live and a personal favourite because it means so much and the lyrics deeply resonate with me. The imagery in the video portrays animal testing and shows myself and Becky covered with meat cuts. The industry is full of vile practices and seeing that in human form will hopefully help people make the connection. I wrote the song about animals, and although this can be related to all forms of exploitation, I wanted the video to be a bold statement: ‘Not your mother, not your milk’.” - Lauren Tate.
