Bellevue Days have revealed a video for brand new single ‘Shotgun’ which sees them stealing their own album ahead of release in a tongue-in-cheek parody of the Martin Shkreli and Wu Tang Clanlegal case.
Commenting on the single and video, directed by friend of the band Tom Carnell, vocalist Alan Smith says: “This is the first song we wrote for the album. Unusually for us, it was born from a major jam sesh late one spring evening. When Dan first hit those chords I knew he was onto something big. It was like we were four puzzle pieces fitting together perfectly. It was sludgy as hell. Juxtaposed with the serious nature of the song’s subject matter, we wanted to take a more lighthearted route with the video by just having a bit of fun and furthering our acting careers...Brad Pitt better watch out!”
