Mantra Release New Single 'Run Away'

London trio Mantra unveil new single 'Run Away'. Abrasive, oscillating and anthemic, the track is produced by Tom Dalegty (Royal Blood, Ghost, Pixies) and showcases a new strength to Mantra’s sound, telling of things to come very soon. Vocalist Simon Stark explains “'Run Away' has an undercurrent of low grade malaise running through the lyrics, mirroring the tension in the verse, and thematically explores self-esteem growing up during the austerity years. It’s is another track that Tom Dalgety really helped to shape, he had great ideas on how to get the chorus to stand out. When I was writing it, I wanted to play with the dynamics in the verse using stabs of distortion within the tension of that Jaws style riff, so the listener is kept on their toes”.
