Female four-piece, Young States have released new single 'Over It By Now' taken from their upcoming EP 'Past Truths | Present Lies' out September 29th.

“There’s not any hidden meaning or complex metaphors to it. It’s just about admitting to yourself, straight up, ‘I really need to sort shit out and get over this’. When agreeing on a video narrative, the idea of Miss Havisham from Charles Dickens’ book – Great Expectations was thrown around, and the concept was so fitting for the song. With Miss Havisham being one of the most iconic spinsters of letting a lost love absolutely take over her life, it really lends itself to the notion of ‘I should be over it by now’ in the song.”
