Ivan Llanes Releases New Single 'Habana - New York'

Cuban-American percussionist and vocalist Ivan Llanes stands out as one of the most exciting musicians of his generation. Llanes will release his debut LP, 'La Vida Misma', on March 22 via Vydia and has shared the new R&B and Latin fusion single, "Habana - New York."

“Habana - New York” features Emmy Nominated Pianist Matthew Whitaker, and Academy Award Nominee, Singer Charles Mack and is an invitation to appreciate the richness of our world by connecting with different cultures. The song reflects Cuban and American elements and is a love story of two people from different places. It follows the energetic Cuban Salsa, "Respira y Siente." 

Originally hailing from Camaguey, Cuba, Ivan has earned himself a prestigious reputation in New York City for his range of percussion skills, distinctive voice, and songwriting style.
