Dymytry Release Video For New Single 'Five Angry Men'

When Czech metal band Dymytry released their successful album 'Revolt' in English for the first time in autumn 2021, asserting their claim to international fame, the release met with positive reactions from countless music magazines. This coup succeeded thanks to their signing of vocalist Alen Ljubić in combination with a cutting-edge mix of powerful modern metal, intelligent lyrics and impeccable craftsmanship.

Their latest English-language album ‘Five Angry Men’ has been scheduled for release on 26 January 2024, supported by Dymytry’s first headlining tour outside the Czech Republic in January 2024.

Before we continue to reveal the mystery of this unusual band any further, let’s first of all explain the unusual album title. Do Dymytry really consist of the five angry men on some kind of metal crusade to put the fear of God into the rest of the world? The musicians’ martial outfits and their scary masks could lead to this assumption. Their ambitious, frequently socio-critical lyrics also deliver a clear message:

“The title ‘Five Angry Men’ refers to our wild image, but also addresses the increasing destruction of our planet by mankind in a satirical way,”

explains Ljubić, adding:

“At the same time, we don’t take ourselves overly seriously, although you’d be forgiven for assuming otherwise, looking at our appearance. Dymytry have a wide range of different facets, which include both serious and tongue-in-cheek material. In addition, there’s always plenty of entertainment and partying going on at our shows.”
