Beyond Extinction Release Video For 'Reverse Life Support' Featuring Harbinger's Dilan Alves

Essex-based death metallers Beyond Extinction have released a brand new music video for the single 'Reverse Life Support' which features guest vocals from Harbinger's Dilan Alves. The track has become a beloved staple of the band's live set, and it now see's an accompanying music video to boot and will be included on the newly announced anniversary deluxe boxset of the band's sophomore EP Nothing More Wretched, due 29th March 2024.

On the new single, vocalist Beyond Extinction comments:

"Collaborating with two big-hitters in UK heavy music - Dilan Alves of Harbinger for a feature and Charlie Wilson at Monolith Studios for production - we are very excited to release the first of two very raw and visceral death metal tracks as part of the Nothing More Wretched anniversary edition - celebrating one year of our most successful release to date. 'Reverse Life Support' allows the unrelenting weight of the band’s double-drop-D tuning to blend with an intensity reminiscent of Swedish-chainsaw style death metal. 'Reverse Life Support's themes call upon the memories of a hospitalisation in 2022 caused by a sudden and intense allergic reaction to medicine, only weeks before heading out on the band's first ever UK tour. Notably, this is our first release since founding guitarist Zach Scott passed away, we are grateful to be releasing music which benefited from his influence and writing and bringing him along with us."

On the long-time coming collaboration, Harbinger's Dilan Alves states:

"Very stoked that Jasper and the boys let me put my stamp on such a gruesome track, and I can imagine the carnage when we get to share the stage for this tune. I am very proud of these guys and have a lot of faith that this is just the beginning for them."
