Interview With 'Ready To Rise'

Firstly, introduce yourselves and tell us a little bit about the band and how you came to be?

I am 32-yeared composer and I have decided to establish my own musical project. I am not interested to play in a classic band anymore, although I´d like to play live with host musicians.

Tell us about your latest release and why our readers should check it out.

I combine groove riffs with clean singing and mostly I am avoiding Metal screaming, thus my music could be attractive for a wide range of metal listeners.

Who would you say is the bands main song writer or is it a group effort and where do you draw your inspiration lyrically and musically from?

It is my project, thus all work, except mastering, is mine. I draw lyric inspiration from mental health issues. Musically I am inspired by mix of Groove, Nu-Metal and Industrial Metal music. My guitar style is highly influenced by Lamb Of God guitarists.

As an artist what do you believe is your greatest achievement to date and why?

My dream is to write a world class Metal song.

What do you enjoy most about touring?

I don´t like it, but I think it is necessary for promoting your music. If we were to head out to one of your live shows what can ourselves and others expect?

Quality music and performance.

If you had one artist/band that you could go on tour with tomorrow who would it be and why?

Devin Townsend. You can spend an hour with a musical icon living or dead, who would you pick, why and what would you speak about?

Devin Townsend, about how he finds such a motivation to write music so frequently.

And finally and most importantly is Die Hard a Christmas Movie? I have no sense for humour in this probably :)
