Do Percy have the greatest vocalist in the world? No, they don’t. Are his vocals perfect for the music Percy make, resoundingly yes!

Opener 'Why Are You Still Here?' is a perfect opening song. It grabs your attention and pulls you into this album kicking and screaming, but thankfully not reluctantly, when I’d read up on Percy before reviewing this album I didn’t expect to enjoy this as much as I did, I did approach this review with a degree of trepidation.

It's an album very much in the Post Punk genre with lyrics that are at times challenging and at all times very well written. If you’re looking for that perfect Pop record this really isn’t it. If you want a record to make you want to get up and jump around and to also make you want to take out your old Punk and Indie records this is it. If you’re looking for the next One Direction jog on, you’re listening to the wrong record!

The playing is excellent, with left field moments appearing and working much better than they have a right to. I am already exploring their back catalogue. I think I might be becoming a fan. As they’re York based and close to me I’m now looking out for their next gig, I can feel some bad dancing coming on.
