Interview With 'Lovesick Radio'

Firstly, introduce yourselves and tell us a little bit about the band and how you came to be?

I’m David I play guitar and write songs for Lovesick Radio. This line up came together to play and write music with swagger and attitude. Some people say we have some classic Rock elements done in a modern way but that’s the stuff that sticks with you and is still around.

What were you all up too prior to the band, was this always the chosen path or did you have other dreams and aspirations?

All of us have always done music. That probably why we ended up in a band together cuz we can’t do anything else.

Tell us about your latest release and why our readers should check it out?

We are doing something a little different then a record an EP. We are putting out singles every month. When you put the songs together in your playlist and listen as a whole you will hear our love letter to Rock 'n' Roll.

Have you ever come face to face with someone within the music scene who has left you awestruck and why?

We have been lucky enough to play with some artists we look up to. But it hasn’t happened yet. Maybe if I met Jimmy Page or Joe Perry that would be a different story.

If we were to head out to one of your live shows what can ourselves and others expect?

To be entertained! Our goal is to make you forget about your day to day life for a few hours and just have a good time.

If you had one artist/band that you could go on tour with tomorrow who would it be and why?

Aerosmith! They inspired me to start playing music.

You can spend an hour with a musical icon living or dead, who would you pick, why and what would you speak about?

Joe Perry, Jimmy Page or Keith Richards. I would ask them about writing some of those classic records!

And finally and most importantly is Die Hard a Christmas Movie?

Ha I would say yes!
