Laura Marling played a solo acoustic show to a sell out crowd at Wrexham's Central Station on Saturday. Armed only with a raft of acoustic guitars and a stage hand, Laura wooed the crowd for over 90 minutes. She played songs from 'This' and other studio albums along with a few B sides and covers. The show was part of a UK tour playing intimate venues in support of new album, 'Semper Femina' which was released earlier this month

Despite the venue being packed, the audience fell silent for the performance with only rapturous applause breaking the hushed atmosphere the end of each track. It is great to see a high profile show in Wrexham and a great boost for the town.
