The seemingly endless lockdown in the UK has almost everyone questioning their pre-pandemic lifestyle choices. Not The Vanities though. The Scottish punks are doubling-down on their stance with new single “I’d Rather Die (Than Have A Job In A Tie)”.

“'I’d Rather Die (Than Have A Job In A Tie)' was written during a rough period of unemployment and being on the brew. Is the grass always greener on the other side? Would I feel happier to pick the mundane option, joining the queue for the slaughterhouse? This tune is full of angst, disillusionment and utter non-compliance played fast, rough catchy n’ scratchy.”
