Felix Green – 'Forgot To Love You' Single Review

Felix Green is a new artist, but his first single got radio play on at least 50 regional radio stations. This is the second single from his forthcoming debut EP.
It’s a song about loss and how to cope with it while acknowledging how difficult that is to do.
Felix’s vocals are almost soulful but with a hint of a rock rasp in there. The whole thing feels like it’s a highly emotional ride.
What works really well is it sounds like both a song about romantic loss and the loss of someone who means something to you through their passing.
You can tell that he has been deeply affected by whoever it is he’s writing about, but it connects on an emotional level for anyone listening to it.
The music is understated, making the vocal performance and lyrics the most important aspect of the song.
Based on his first two singles there is a real talent developing here, a debut EP is to follow this September, hopefully we will get to review it for this site. If you didn’t pick up on the debut single, 'Rolling Of The Dice' then go give it a listen as well, it’s a change of pace but well worth it.
