Austrian Blackened Death heavyweights Belphegor have re-released their 2000 album 'Necrodaemon Terrorsathan' on Nuclear Blast.

'Necrodaemon Terrorsathan' isn’t your common variety re-release, as the band went back and re-recorded every single track with the knowledge and skills they’ve acquired in the 20 years since the album’s original release.

This is everything you want in a re-release. With the band re-recording the album, it becomes much clearer than it was 20 years ago, with everything sounding just as brutal as it did on the original release, with the added benefit of experience gained over the years and years of touring that Belphegor have undertaken, as well as benefiting from being on a label like Nuclear Blast, as opposed to Last Episode (now known as Black Attakk), which the band apparently referred to as a ‘rip-off label’.

If you are a fan of re-releases, and Blackened Death Metal, this is a must have for you. There is a reason that Belphegor have lasted as long as they have, and this is evident with the re-release of 'Necrodaemon Terrorsathan'. A lot of care and attention has been taken for this release, and it is evident within every minute.
