Beauty Sleep Release New Single 'We Don't Talk About It'

Derry “radical alt-pop” duo Beauty Sleep (aka producer/songwriters Cheylene Murphy and Ryan McGroarty) are pleased to return with new single ‘We Don’t Talk About It’ out now via Alcopop! Records.
A sexual awakening anthem dedicated to throwing off the shackles of a sheltered Catholic School upbringing, ‘We Don’t Talk About It’ is a glitter-pop ode to embracing the kinkier side of life, and yourself.
Commenting on the song, the band’s Cheylene Murphy says:
“This song is about flirting with people and kinky sex, in a very cute wink wink nudge nudge way. We grew up in a culture very repressed about sex (we both went to Catholic Schools in Derry) and a big part of the long journey to understand yourself and be happy was embracing our sexuality and exploring kinks. As the album is about that journey, we needed a little nod to kinkiness, but as the song suggests, it's hotter when we don't talk about it…”
