Scotland’s lovechild of Blink 182 and Green Day, Melodic Pop Punk band Single By Sunday have been going from strength to strength touring extensively for the last 18 months, with US college tours booked and their last UK tour in January selling out 4 out of 5 dates played.
Their upbeat/energetic live shows, featuring raucous guitars and undeniably catchy hooks, show an invigorating take on classic Pop-Punk from the early 00s but with their own unique twists. New single ‘Debbie’, a track that proves online shopping is not always as it should be, develops their sound further with explosive 80’s Pop funky bass and synths making way for the band’s heavy chugging riffs.
“What should have been a simple purchase of a pair of jeans turned out to be a 'nod your head bop of a tune'. The short story is Jonny tried to buy some jeans and got ripped off!” Explain Single By Sunday.
