Marmozets - O2 Forum Kentish Town, London 19.10.2018
Yorkshire Rock band Marmozets took London by storm, with a killer set at the O2 Forum Kentish Town. Having previously seen the four-piece band at 2000 trees I was looking forward to seeing the band in front of a full house of their own adoring fans, and the roof was ripped straight off the venue!
The hour and a half set consisted of a selection of songs from the bands two albums, and a new song entitled 'We Are Strange', Marmozets showed why they are held in such great esteem in the music industry at the moment. 'Knowing What You Know Now' must be a contender for 2018’s album of the year.
Drummer Josh Macintyre wasn’t going to let his sister, and frontwoman Becca Macintyre take all the limelight as he stood up on his drum set throughout to pound on the drums. Marmozets are a great band to watch, a great band to photograph and a great band to listen to. If you’re not jumping on the Marmozets bandwagon yet, hop on board! It won’t be long before they’re selling out the biggest venues in the country.
