Mantra Release Video For New Single 'Run Away'

Mantra have revealed the official video for latest single 'Run Away'. Vocalist Simon Stark explains “We filmed the video for 'Run Away' at two in the morning in a field in Milton Keynes. It was at the end of a four day shoot filming three music videos in one go! The track has an undercurrent of low grade malaise running through the lyrics, mirroring the tension in the verse, and thematically explores self-esteem growing up during the austerity years. It’s is another track that Tom Dalgety really helped to shape, he had great ideas on how to get the chorus to stand out. When I was writing it, I wanted to play with the dynamics in the verse using stabs of distortion within the tension of that Jaws style riff, so the listener is kept on their toes”.
