Ella Langley - 'Perfect' Single Review

I believe this counts as Ella Langley’s first official debut single as I believe it is the first that has been for sale, and it serves as a great appetizer for the EP that is to come in a couple months. Langley is from Montgomery, Alabama and brings several influences into her sound. There are elements of Country, Americana, Southern Rock at play here and in her other work.

‘Perfect’ takes an uptempo beat and marries it to an acoustic frame that is coated in a quality hook. The guitar picking is outstanding by Langley and her band. Langley’s voice reminds me a little bit of early Miranda Lambert, except with Alabama sass instead of the Texan attitude.

This is a really enjoyable single that leaves me excited for what is to come later this year.
