Monster Treasure Release New Single/Video 'Buttercream'

‘Buttercream’ is the second track to be revealed from Monster Treasure’s forthcoming second album ‘II’, following on from catchy-as-hell ‘Leave’. The album will be released via Leisure & District on 6th October this year on CD, digital download and rainbow splatter vinyl. Vocalist/guitarist Briana Granados muses on the track: "Rachel (bass/vocals) told me that this song is about when "surrendering to love is like butter." I might be biased but Rachel writes the best songs about fallin' in love!" Filmed mainly on an old camcorder, the psychedelically illustrative music video for ‘Buttercream’ features dance moves inspired by multiple sources from New Edition to ZZ Top and, as Briana reveals, “My mom made us the cake specifically for the video. It was vegan! And delicious! Thanks Mom!”
