So last weekend I headed up to Leicester for my first festival of the year and I can assure you that Handmade did not disappoint. With a huge collection of different artist there was something for everyone, I had cemented a spot for the acts hitting up the Academy 1 stage and had managed to capture so many exciting new names as well as the big guns. Kermes, Muncie Girls, Puppy and Tiger Cub are all bands people should be keeping an eye out for in the future, all of them having their different qualities but all are masters at getting the crowd going, thats for sure. And then came the two big acts of the day Pulled Apart By Horses started of the headline list with a set so full of energy it ended with front man Tom Hudson ride the wave of festival goers whilst still playing, which set up the perfect atmosphere for Scottish giants Twin Atlantic who had no problem bring the house down.
