Alx Green Releases New Video 'Downhill From Here'

‘Downhill From Here’ is Alx’s first release via his own record label ‘Before The Storm Records’.

The single comprises of two songs; a brand new revised version of the track ‘Downhill From Here’ which was previously described as ‘Sublime’ by Chris Hawkins at BBC Radio 6Music and a stripped back live version of a new song called ‘Love Again’. The style of the release is a modern take on classic singer/songwriter music, drawing influences from percussive finger-style guitar work, Modern Folk, Blues, Pop and dynamic vocals.

Alx Green has previously released several demo EP’s and in 2016 after three months touring Europe in his van, he released his first studio EP ‘My Way Home’ which achieved number two in the iTunes Singer/Songwriter pre-order charts. The songs also received several plays on BBC Radio 2, BBC 6Music, BBC Radio Merseyside and were described as ‘stunning stuff’ by BBC Introducing Merseyside DJ Dave Monks. After a great deal of self promotion and management Alx decided to start up his own record label ‘Before The Storm Records’ and is kicking off it’s release with this brand new single and video released via the label.
