Interview With Relentless, Lead Singer Of 'ENDRAH'

Firstly, introduce yourself and tell us a little bit about the band and how you came to be?

Hello, My name is Relentless, and I am the vocalist of Brazilian based band, ENDRAH. The band started around 2003 with several pro Brazilian musicians, and Billy Grazaidei of Biohazard fame. I am an American and live in California near San Francisco. I joined the band after auditions for a vocalist came out in early 2005. ENDRAH plays brutal music like a mix of thrash, death metal, and hardcore. Check us out!

What were you all up too prior to the band, was this always the chosen path or did you have other dreams and aspirations?

I had recently completed a business degree from Sonoma State University in California U.S.A. I would consider being in ENDRAH to be a dream come true in many ways. We are starting to grow outside of Brazil which is exciting, and the band is doing more work in Brazil again. I love to travel, and being in a band combines that with my love to perform heavy music on stage. I feel I am an artist and a performer so it fits the bill for me.

Tell us about your latest EP/Album and why our readers should check it out.

The latest full length is titled THE CULLING, which you should check out. We are proud of that album. It was released by Univeral Records in 2013. Our latest release was a single called Cadaver Na Barragem. All of our recordings except for the DEMONStration E.P. (before I was in the band) is available online at all major retailers. You can stream on many sites as well including Pandora, and Spotify, and more. The new E.P. which we are recording now will be coming out in late April or early May 2016. Immediately followed by a headlining tour of Brazil. The new material is great, and worth a listen.

Have you ever come face to face with someone within the music scene who has left you awestruck and why?

I have had the pleasure of meeting many of my favorite rockstars over the years. Some names to mention would be Bruce Dickinson of Iron Maiden. I love that band, and he is an amazing vocalist and performer. That was really special. Meeting Billy Grazaidei for the first time was super cool. I met Jonathan Davis from Korn which I was thrilled about. The list really goes on and on. There are some very special people in this industry, and it is an honor to be in such company at times.

If we were to head out to one of your live shows what can ourselves and others expect?

Expect a solid crowd, expect tough guys, expect loud music, expect more girls than you would expect, expect to see a real live show, entertainment, expect to see drinking, moshing, stage diving, crowd surfing, slam dancing, and gang vocal backups. Get your ass down to the show and get in the pit! You'll love it.

If you had one artist/band that you could go on tour with tomorrow who would it be and why?

Well I am on my way to see Slayer tonight. I guess that would pretty much climb the ladder to a high point. We would love to go out with Biohazard someday. Lamb of God, Cannibal Corpse, I Declare War, Sepultura of course!, Krisiun, Hatebreed, So many!

You can spend an hour with a musical icon living or dead, who would you pick, why and what would you speak about?

Johnny Cash. He is the man. I would want some advice and to hear the tasty stories.

And finally and most importantly is Die Hard a Christmas Movie?

YES of course it is. Just like the best of them. I also plan to add KRAMPUS to my Christmas movie collection for this year and years to come. A quite enjoyable film I must say.

We just want to say thank you for taking the time to answer our questions.

Thank you for supporting ENDRAH. We appreciate it. Please follow us online and drop us a line, and come to a show. Our music is available all over the internet.
