True Heights - 'TH15' EP Review

February 16, 2016

I have listened to this EP over and over and I really don't want to review it. Not because it's bad but because I don't want to stop listening and have to focus on anything else.

True Heights have created gold.

The Midland rockers have put together one of the strongest EP's I've heard in a long time.

The 6 songs on offer here are amazing. Lead Zakk Poland's voice is stunning. He offers a great range that is soothing yet so powerful.

The musicianship here is incredible. As a band they craft a complex blend of melodic rock intertwined with beautiful lyrics. Their writing is accomplished. Each song has been crafted for the stage, inviting you to sing along.

The stand out song for me has to be 'Don't Look Down' (video below) It builds and builds into this climatic end that gave me chills.

Its intricate guitar work really shines, layering itself perfectly with Zakk's roaring vocals.

There is no denying just how catchy True Heights are. I can only see great things ahead for this band and I shall be eagerly watching their progress.

True Heights don't just fly they soar.

They have just announced a UK Tour with Years Young (dates below) and I emplore you to get to one of the dates and check these guys out.
